1/4" by 12" Birch Dowels - North American Made
All Bear Woods Dowel Rods are kiln dried, clear, smooth, straight and accurately sized. Our eighth inch by twelve inch Premium Hardwood Birch Doweling is made from high quality wood, and is North American made. North American made Dowel Rods are made with a higher quality and standard than those imported.
Twelve inch Dowels, or Dowel sticks, are excellent for multiple applications, and are well made craft dowel sticks. These 12" Dowel Rods are well made craft dowel sticks.

I’m going to use these dowel caps, with the 1/4 dowels I also purchased, to use as hangers for various art projects. They look really well made and are pretty smooth. Really happy with my first time purchases from Bear Woods.
All of the products I purchased are good quality. The dowels are round, not oval like most you get at the lumber yards. I will be purchasing more products from Bear Woods Supply in the future.
These fit the Wood Candle Cups 1-9/16" by 1-3/8" very well with just a press fit as they are already dimpled. Looks great too, better that the brass inserts I've purchased earlier from Lee.

These dowels make wonderful axels. They are smooth and uniform in diameter.
Not sure why the dowels were suggested... I will use them on other projects
