These Clock Motors run a step second hand and is powered by a single 'C' cell battery. The benefit of the C-cell battery is far longer battery life than the mini pendulum mechanisms operating on a AA battery.

The clock movement fit my existing Seth Thomas steeple clock.It is working very well and keeping good time. I was able to reuse my old pendulum.
I don't think the movement has the quality of my old one which lasted 38 years. Time changes!
**When repairing a clock we always recommend new hands as your old ones may not fit.
