Given the size of bit I'm using (.8mm) the collet doesn't tighten to give absolute true rotation. That being said I am far from a machinist and might be missing a method. It works fine for my uses and the collets with a bigger bit I think would be perfect. They are well manufactured.

I had been avoiding using #numbered bits as i didn't want to invest in a new drill press chuck.
This adapter is the answer! A very economical and effective solution; 5 stars.
Cons: none that I've found.

Given the size of bit I'm using (.8mm) the collet doesn't tighten to give absolute true rotation. That being said I am far from a machinist and might be missing a method. It works fine for my uses and the collets with a bigger bit I think would be perfect. They are well manufactured.
